Product Description
Prepreg fiberglass cloth is a high-performance composite reinforcement material manufactured by impregnating premium E-glass woven fabric with a precisely controlled epoxy resin system. The fabric undergoes dipping, rolling, controlled heating, B-stage curing, laminating, and coiling processes to ensure optimal resin distribution and consistent mechanical performance.
During final molding under heat and pressure, the material fully cures to form a rigid composite structure with excellent strength, dimensional stability, and flame retardancy up to UL94 V-0 level (depending on resin formulation). Prepreg glass fiber fabric is widely used in aerospace, electronics, automotive, wind energy, marine, and advanced industrial applications.
Prepreg (pre-impregnated) fiberglass cloth refers to glass fiber fabric pre-saturated with a partially cured epoxy resin system. Unlike traditional wet lay-up fiberglass, prepreg materials provide:
Precise resin-to-fiber ratio
Uniform mechanical properties
Reduced void content
Cleaner production process
Higher structural consistency
This makes prepreg fiberglass ideal for demanding composite manufacturing environments where strength, safety, and reliability are critical.

High-strength continuous filament E-glass yarns are woven into plain, twill, or satin structures.
Specialized epoxy systems are prepared, including flame-retardant or high-temperature variants.
The fabric is uniformly impregnated to achieve accurate resin content.
Controlled heating partially cures the resin, giving the material tackiness and flexibility for lay-up.
Protective release films are applied before rolling for refrigerated storage.
During molding (autoclave, hot press, vacuum bagging), heat and pressure complete the curing process.
Excellent tensile and flexural strength due to continuous fiber reinforcement and controlled resin distribution.
Suitable for dynamic load structures such as wind turbine blades and automotive components.
Low curing shrinkage ensures precise molded parts and tight tolerance control.
After curing, the composite can achieve UL94 V-0 flame resistance (depending on resin system).
Resistant to moisture, acids, alkalis, and harsh industrial environments.
Compared to steel and aluminum, prepreg fiberglass composites offer significant weight reduction while maintaining strength.
Prepreg fiberglass cloth can conform to complex mold shapes, making it suitable for advanced composite part manufacturing.
E-glass fiber provides strong dielectric properties, ideal for electrical and electronic applications.

Technical assistance for composite applications
We support customized composite solutions tailored to aerospace, industrial, and structural manufacturing requirements.
Prepreg fiberglass cloth is pre-impregnated with epoxy resin and partially cured, ensuring precise resin content and consistent performance. Regular fiberglass cloth requires manual resin application during lay-up, which may lead to inconsistent quality.
Yes. To prevent premature curing, prepreg materials should be stored in a freezer (typically below -18°C) until use.
Yes. We offer customized epoxy systems including flame-retardant, high-temperature resistant, and special mechanical performance formulations.
Prepreg fiberglass cloth is compatible with:
Autoclave curing
Hot press molding
Vacuum bagging
Compression molding
With flame-retardant epoxy systems, the final cured composite can reach UL94 V-0 rating.
