Product Description
RUISHUN Prepreg Fiberglass Cloth is a high-performance composite reinforcement material made by impregnating premium E-glass woven fabric with a precisely controlled epoxy resin system. It is designed for advanced composite manufacturing where consistent resin content, high strength, dimensional stability, and reliable processing are required.
The fabric undergoes dipping, rolling, controlled heating, B-stage curing, laminating, and coiling processes to ensure uniform resin distribution and stable mechanical performance. During final molding under heat and pressure, the material cures into a rigid composite structure with excellent strength, flame retardancy, electrical insulation, and corrosion resistance.
RUISHUN supplies prepreg glass fiber fabric for aerospace, electronics, automotive, EV, wind energy, marine, construction, defense, sports equipment, and advanced industrial composite applications.
Prepreg fiberglass cloth, also called pre-impregnated fiberglass fabric, is E-glass woven fabric pre-saturated with a partially cured epoxy resin system. Unlike traditional wet lay-up fiberglass, prepreg materials provide more accurate resin-to-fiber ratio, lower void content, cleaner processing, and more consistent mechanical properties.
This makes epoxy prepreg fiberglass cloth ideal for demanding composite manufacturing environments where strength, safety, repeatability, and dimensional accuracy are critical.

High-strength continuous filament E-glass yarns are woven into plain, twill, or satin fabric structures according to application requirements.
Specialized epoxy resin systems are prepared, including standard, flame-retardant, high-temperature, or customized mechanical performance formulations.
The fiberglass fabric is uniformly impregnated with epoxy resin to achieve accurate resin content and consistent composite performance.
Controlled heating partially cures the resin, giving the prepreg material proper tackiness and flexibility for lay-up and molding.
Protective release films are applied before rolling to support clean handling, transportation, and refrigerated storage.
During autoclave curing, hot press molding, vacuum bagging, or compression molding, heat and pressure complete the curing process and form the final composite structure.

RUISHUN supports customized composite solutions for aerospace, electronics, automotive, wind energy, marine, industrial, and structural manufacturing requirements.
Prepreg fiberglass cloth is pre-impregnated with epoxy resin and partially cured, providing precise resin content and consistent performance. Regular fiberglass cloth requires manual resin application during lay-up, which can lead to inconsistent quality.
Yes. To prevent premature curing, prepreg materials should be stored in a freezer, typically below -18°C, until use. Storage temperature and shelf life depend on the resin system.
Yes. RUISHUN offers customized epoxy systems including flame-retardant, high-temperature resistant, and special mechanical performance formulations.
Prepreg fiberglass cloth is compatible with autoclave curing, hot press molding, vacuum bagging, and compression molding.
With flame-retardant epoxy systems, the final cured composite can reach UL94 V-0 rating depending on resin formulation and composite structure.
Prepreg fiberglass is commonly used in aerospace, automotive, electronics, wind energy, marine, infrastructure, defense, sports equipment, and advanced composite manufacturing industries.
